Music Video: Edit 10
At this stage my partner was approaching the end of the editing process for the music video. Before finalising the music video my partner changed the font and colour of the music video as she felt it was made the most sense and it looked and felt more professional and less “home movie” like. the colour was changed due to the fact that my partner felt it would benefit us as the Digipack would also include a white Typeface and we would use the same font as the music video to merge the two productions. It also matched the doodles we planned on using in the digipack as we wanted to change the doodles to white in the digipack for aesthetics and design reasons. From here she acquired some feedback from teachers and peers in order to really finalise the music video.
At this stage, I honestly became quite worried as I noticed many things I thought would be effective, not changing. The choice not to use cinematic black bars at the foot and roof of the video I believe was a mistake, but I also understand how it allows the video to look a lot more relatable and loose. This along with many other concerns I voiced before where the basis of my worries, however, apart from those issues I was quite happy with the video at this stage and hope to see a couple more changes in the next edit.
