From the making of this video I learned:
- always to choose the song before shooting the video.
- to maybe try using artificial light to ensure the light is even throughout.
- to maybe think through the storyline of the video more thoroughly.

For this video, we filmed at various locations around London, more specifically Chinatown, Soho, Picadilly Circus and various Tube Stations. We filmed in the daylight opposed to when we filmed last time. Filming in the daylight worked a lot better for us as the light was somewhat controlled making it easier to edit. 
Before we met up to film we asked our model to wear dark clothing with a pop of colour with hair braided in one way or another. She kindly agreed, and the look tied in perfectly with the settings we had planned to visit.

For the mise-en-scene, we purposely selected models of different ethnic backgrounds, different fashion senses, different looks, hair colors and makeup looks. this was planned as I wanted the video to be about how different girls from different corners of the world could go through the same things and feel the same way as each other. Like they're 'wonderers'.

 the narrative for this music video was that al girls from all over, that have been through all kinds of different things can overcome life and just be

J Cole  – False Prophets - J Coles video for his song “False Prophets” is performed in a very informal way, basically walking through his day showing us, the viewers, a day in his life, in his neighborhood surrounded by everyday encounters. It's filmed in a loose, shaky way as if it were filmed by an amateur. At the beginning of this video the artist, J Cole, is sat on the seat of a bus stop watching out for the bus. The environment he is surrounded by seems familiar according to his calm and natural attitude. The cutaway shots between when Cole raps towards the camera show snippets of children playing, men sitting outside a corner shop, people we suppose he would see on a day to day walk in his neighborhood, we see him taking pictures with fans, standing to rapping outside a house that seems familiar to him. Mushaboom – Feist (Music Video) In this first attempt at making a full music video learned a lot. I learned: - when to queue a transition and how to add the correct transition - how to edit videos so that it looks like they were all filmed with the same lighting and effects - to match stop in the song to transitions, and finally - to always plan before filing a music video. For this video, we filmed at various locations around London, more specifically Warren Street. it was around 4.30pm in February resulting in an early sunset so when we filmed it was beginning to get dark. by the end of it, the sky was pitch black. Before we met up to film we asked our model to wear dark clothing with a pop of colour with hair braided in one way or another. She kindly agreed, and the look tied in perfectly with the settings we had planned to visit. The reason we asked her to braid her hair was to add an element of culture to the character that we wanted to create.
